| Dear
Fellow Rotarians & Ann’s,
It is an honor
to lead our Rotary International District
3130, in the Rotary year 2005-2006, the
post Centenary year to enter its second
century of service. I am overwhelmed by
your affection, faith and Trust shown in
me at this Young age, which gives me enormous
confidence as I stand on the threshold of
a “Century of Service”.
As we look back at the 100 years of service,
we feel proud to be associated with this
movement, the main aim of which is to make
a change for the better, in the lives of
underprivileged .A hundred years is an important
milestone – one that few organizations
reach. It signifies that we all are doing
great service and most important that the
need for Rotary service remains strong.
It is also very important to realize that
we should not only pat our own backs for
the work done in past as it is said “
It Doesn't’t matter whether you can
be proud of your ancestors” but what
matters is “CAN THEY BE PROUD
OF YOU”!
It is said that if you sleep and dream that
life is pure joy than if you awake and see
that life is service.
But truly if you serve than SERVICE is real
JOY .
So long as there is one hungry child
, one ignorant man ,one discouraged youth,
so long as there is a misunderstanding or
conflict anywhere, so long as there is a
choice friend who has not yet been found
,there is a reason for “ROTARY.”
I am confident that Together we share a
common aim for strengthening our community, our
international bonds, and now, our goals
for the post Centennial.
Together we have CELEBRATED ROTARY by performing
countless acts of service in our clubs.
And now all the best for your end less M
I S S I O N to work "SERVICE ABOVE
SELF".
