We are pleased to inform you that R. C. Pune Metro has been honored by District IYE committee and DG Vinay Kulkarni to host the “District IYE Seminar”. We thank them for providing this opportunity. The details of the seminar are as follows:

Date   : Sunday, 28th October 2007
Time   : 10.30 am to 1.00 pm followed by Lunch
Venue : Boat club, Pune

Purpose :
This seminar will provide all details of International Youth Exchange programme conducted by Rotary International for young students in the age group 15–19 desiring to go abroad for cultural exchange, for short term (4 to 6 weeks) or for long term (11 to 12 months). Every year, almost 8000 student participate in this exchange program from all over the world.

Who should attend :
For All Club Presidents, President Elects, Director International Service, IYE Chairman, this seminar is mandatory. Besides them, it is recommended that Secretary & other members of your club, students desiring to go abroad under this programme in June 2008 or later and their parents / relatives / Friends or guardians should attend. As you may be already aware that IYE programme is for children of Rotarians as well as non-Rotarians hence you may also encourage your non-Rotarian friends and relatives and their children to attend this seminar.

Content :
The seminar will be in 2 sessions with audio-visuals, 1 session by presentation of IYE student, & lastly interactive session. The content is so designed that, it should cover most of the things on IYE (both in-bound & out-bound).

Registration Fees :
Rs. 100 per person, which includes seminar material and mini lunch.
